What WeightWatchers publicly lists
WeightWatchers lists membership pricing on its medication and plans pages and self-pay medication prices on individual drug pages. The intro offer is described slightly differently on two pages, which we note below.
| Plan or item | Listed price | Notes | Source (checked Oct 30, 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| WW Med+ membership, 12-month plan | $25/month for months 1–2, then $74/month | Offer ends 11/03/26. Auto-renews for another 12 months at the same monthly rate. Medication not included. | WW weight-loss medication page |
| WW Med+ membership, 6-month plan | $25 first month, then $84/month | The plans page describes the $25 intro as the first month only, which differs from the medication pages. | WW plans page |
| Wegovy pen, self-pay | $199/month for the first two fills, then $349/month ($399 for 7.2 mg) | The $199 offer applies to 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg pens for eligible new patients through 12/31/26. Dispensed through CenterWell Pharmacy. | WW Wegovy page |
| Wegovy pen, 12-month prepaid medication commitment | $249/month ($2,988 upfront) | Offer ends 12/31/26. Cancellation applies only to medication not yet shipped. | WW Wegovy page |
| Wegovy pill (9 mg and 25 mg) | $299/month standard; $249/month on 12-month prepaid | Same prepaid structure as the pen. | WW Wegovy page |
| Zepbound vials and KwikPens, self-pay via LillyDirect | $299 (2.5 mg), $399 (5 mg), $449 (7.5–15 mg) | The $449 tier applies to refills within 45 days; later refills at 7.5–15 mg are listed at $599 to $1,049/month. | WW Zepbound page |
| Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide | Not published on WeightWatchers’ site as of Oct 30, 2026 | The pages we checked describe FDA-approved branded medications and do not list compounded pricing. | WW semaglutide page |
With commercial insurance, WeightWatchers says medication can cost as little as $74 a month depending on coverage. This comparison focuses on cash pay, since coverage varies by plan.
The 12-month math
Membership for a 12-month Med+ plan at the intro offer is $25 × 2 + $74 × 10 = $790. Medication is added on top. Zepbound figures below are an illustration only; your dose is set by your clinician.
| Option | Line items | 12-month total |
|---|---|---|
| Med+ + Wegovy pen or pill, 12-month prepaid | $790 membership + $2,988 medication | $3,778 |
| Med+ + Wegovy pen, standard self-pay | $790 membership + ($199 × 2 + $349 × 10 = $3,888) | $4,678 |
| Med+ + Zepbound vials (illustration: 1 month at 2.5 mg, 1 month at 5 mg, 10 months at the $449 tier) | $790 membership + ($299 + $399 + $449 × 10 = $5,188) | $5,978 |
| Elara injectable semaglutide, 52-week plan | $179 × 13 cycles (paid upfront) | $2,327 |
| Elara injectable semaglutide, 4-week plan | $249 × 13 cycles | $3,237 |
| Elara tirzepatide, 52-week plan | $269 × 13 cycles (paid upfront) | $3,497 |
| Elara tirzepatide, 4-week plan | $339 × 13 cycles | $4,407 |
These are different kinds of medication. WeightWatchers’ listed cash prices are for FDA-approved branded products, while Elara prescribes compounded medications, which are not interchangeable with branded drugs. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality. WeightWatchers’ Clinic terms also say members can get required lab work from their primary care physician or WeightWatchers’ third-party vendor; lab costs are not listed.

How to cancel WeightWatchers Med+
The WeightWatchers Clinic Membership Agreement says you can cancel from the account area of the website or app, or by email. For a long-term commitment plan, cancellation takes effect at the end of the commitment period, and you continue to pay the monthly fee until then. The terms say the initial consultation fee is not refundable and that fees are not refunded if a prescribed medication is unavailable, though they provide a refund of the unused portion if you cancel for medical reasons. Prepaid Wegovy commitments can be canceled only for medication that has not shipped.
Who WeightWatchers may be a good fit for
- People with commercial insurance that may cover a branded GLP-1; WW offers insurance coordinators for pre-authorizations.
- Anyone who specifically wants an FDA-approved branded medication such as Wegovy or Zepbound.
- Members who value group workshops, a large recipe library and a long-established behavior program alongside medication.
- Existing WW members who want to add clinical care without switching platforms.
How Elara is different
Elara uses one all-in price every 4 weeks rather than a membership plus a separate medication bill. That price includes clinician review and dose decisions, quarterly metabolic labs at Quest or Labcorp, a health coaching call every 3 weeks, care-team messaging, refills, shipping, and compounded medication if prescribed, at the same price at every dose step. You can see the whole process on how Elara works.
