Elara Health & Wellness
Elara Health and Wellness Reviews & Pricing 2026
Elara Health and Wellness is a physician-led online GLP-1 weight care program. Plans are billed every 4 weeks and start at $179 per 4 weeks for compounded semaglutide injections on a 52-week plan, with labs, coaching, refills and shipping included. This page lays out exactly what you pay, what’s included, how to cancel and how to verify us, so you can decide for yourself.
Is Elara Health and Wellness legit?
Here is what you can check independently, without taking our word for it:
- Licensed clinicians: clinical care is provided by OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC, a network of board-certified physicians and licensed clinicians. A clinician reviews your health history and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Medication is prescribed only after that evaluation.
- Better Business Bureau: Elara is BBB accredited with an A rating.
- A real company: Elara Health and Wellness is operated by JTE Medical, LLC, a Florida company.
- One place to verify everything: our Trust and verification page links to each of these so you can confirm them at the source.
Elara pricing (billed every 4 weeks)
The price is the same at every dose step of your prescribed medication. Longer plans lower the per-cycle price.
| Medication (if prescribed) | 4-week plan | 12-week plan | 24-week plan | 52-week plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Compounded semaglutide injection | $249 | $219 | $199 | $179 ($2,327 upfront) |
| Compounded oral semaglutide | $279 | $259 | $239 | $209 ($2,717 upfront) |
| Compounded tirzepatide injection | $339 | $309 | $289 | $269 ($3,497 upfront) |
All prices are per 4-week cycle. See the pricing page for current plan details.
The real 12-month cost
A year has 13 four-week cycles, not 12. Programs that bill every 4 weeks charge you 13 times a year, so the honest yearly number is the cycle price times 13.
| Medication | Month to month (4-week plan × 13) | 52-week plan, paid upfront |
|---|---|---|
| Semaglutide injection | $249 × 13 = $3,237 | $2,327 |
| Oral semaglutide | $279 × 13 = $3,627 | $2,717 |
| Tirzepatide injection | $339 × 13 = $4,407 | $3,497 |
There is no separate consultation fee, lab fee or shipping charge on top of these numbers. Two things sit outside the program rate: anti-nausea medication, if prescribed, is billed by the pharmacy (any copay is separate), and optional supplements are sold separately.
What’s included in every plan
- Clinician review of your health history, and dose decisions over time
- Metabolic lab work every quarter at Quest or Labcorp
- A call with a certified health coach every 3 weeks
- Secure messaging with your care team during business hours
- Refills and shipping
- Your medication, if a clinician prescribes it
How to cancel
There is no cancellation fee on a 4-week plan. If you cancel a longer plan early, the cycles you already received are re-priced at the shorter plan’s rate and the difference is reconciled. Full terms are in our refund policy and terms of service.
Who Elara may not be the right fit for
- People whose insurance covers a brand-name GLP-1 medication. That is often the lowest out-of-pocket route, and we don’t bill insurance.
- People who want only a prescription with no coaching, labs or ongoing check-ins. Lower-cost, medication-only services exist.
- Anyone a clinician determines treatment isn’t appropriate for. The assessment is free and you aren’t charged if you aren’t approved.
How to get started
The assessment takes about 5 minutes. A licensed clinician reviews it, and you are not charged if treatment isn’t approved. See how it works.
