Why does Elara cost more than some medication-only services?
Because the program covers more than the medication. Quarterly metabolic labs, coaching every three weeks and your clinician's ongoing review are included in the same price, not added on separately. What other services include varies, so it's worth comparing what each price covers.
Does my price change with my dose?
No. Your program price stays the same across the doses your clinician prescribes. Switching to a different medication or program may change the price.
Is compounded medication FDA-approved?
No. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved, and FDA has not evaluated them for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are not the same as brand-name drugs. Your clinician decides whether a compounded preparation is appropriate for you.
What happens if I'm not approved?
You aren't charged. The assessment is free, and if a licensed clinician doesn't approve treatment, you pay nothing.
