Sesame GLP-1 Pricing & Reviews 2026: Real 12-Month Cost
Sesame GLP-1 cost: care from $59/mo on a 12-month commitment, plus medication billed separately from $149/mo. See the real 12-month math.
Sesame’s GLP-1 program, Success by Sesame, charges for care and medication separately: care starts at $59 per month with a 12-month commitment, and medication is paid on top, from $149 per month for the lowest Wegovy pill doses up to $449 per month for most Zepbound vial doses. That puts a year on Sesame between about $2,496 and $5,896 for the options with fixed published prices, and more if you use brand-name pens. Prices below were checked on Sesame’s website on October 30, 2026.
What Sesame publicly lists
| Item | Listed price | Terms | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Success by Sesame care fee | From $59 per month | 12-month commitment; medication not included; Sesame says some clinicians charge a higher monthly rate | Sesame weight loss program page |
| Success by Sesame, month-to-month care | Not published on Sesame’s site as of Oct 30, 2026 | The program page’s metadata separately says “starts at just $99/mo,” which does not match the page body | Sesame weight loss program page |
| Wegovy pill, 1.5 mg or 4 mg | $149 per month | Self-pay medication, paid separately | Sesame Wegovy page |
| Wegovy pill, 9 mg or 25 mg | $299 per month | Self-pay medication, paid separately | Sesame Wegovy page |
| Wegovy pen | $199 per month for 2 months, then $349 per month | Intro price for new self-pay patients, Nov 17, 2025 to Dec 31, 2026 | Sesame Wegovy page |

| Zepbound or Mounjaro pens | $1,080 to $1,200 per month | Depends on pharmacy | Sesame tirzepatide page |
| Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide | Not published on Sesame’s site as of Oct 30, 2026 | Sesame’s program pages list brand-name medications only | Sesame weight loss program page |
The 12-month math
Sesame’s $59 care fee assumes a 12-month commitment, so the annual care cost is 12 × $59 = $708. Medication is added on top. Sesame does not publish a dose schedule, so for Zepbound vials we show an illustration only: one month at 2.5 mg, one at 5 mg, and ten at a higher dose. Your clinician sets your actual dosing. Insurance can change these numbers; Sesame says insured patients may pay as little as $25 per month for Wegovy depending on their plan.
| Option | Line items | 12-month total |
|---|---|---|
| Sesame: Wegovy pill, 1.5 mg or 4 mg all year | Care $708 + medication 12 × $149 = $1,788 | $2,496 |
| Sesame: Wegovy pill, 9 mg or 25 mg all year | Care $708 + medication 12 × $299 = $3,588 | $4,296 |
| Sesame: Wegovy pen, new self-pay patient | Care $708 + (2 × $199) + (10 × $349) = $3,888 | $4,596 |
| Sesame: Zepbound vials (illustration) | Care $708 + $299 + $399 + (10 × $449) = $5,188 | $5,896 |
| Sesame: Zepbound or Mounjaro pens | Care $708 + 12 × $1,080 to $1,200 | $13,668 to $15,108 |
| Elara: tirzepatide (compounded), 52-week plan | 13 × $269 every 4 weeks; all-inclusive, same price at every dose | $3,497 |
| Elara: tirzepatide (compounded), 4-week plan | 13 × $339 | $4,407 |
| Elara: injectable semaglutide (compounded), 52-week plan | 13 × $179 | $2,327 |
| Elara: oral semaglutide (compounded), 52-week plan | 13 × $209 | $2,717 |

How to cancel Sesame
Sesame’s weight loss pages do not describe how to cancel Success by Sesame as of October 30, 2026. Sesame’s general Terms of Service (updated October 16, 2026), which do not name the program, say membership subscriptions can be canceled up to 48 hours before renewal by emailing support@sesamecare.com or calling +1 (877) 947-6411, and that access continues through the current term. Those terms say there are no prorated refunds, and that canceling a multi-month plan early may be re-priced at the standard month-to-month rate. Ask Sesame how these terms apply to the 12-month Success commitment before you enroll. Source: Sesame Terms of Service.
