Orderly Meds advertises compounded semaglutide from $74 a month and compounded tirzepatide from $149 a month, but those are two-month introductory rates for new customers; its standard monthly rates are $149 and $299. Over 12 months, that works out to roughly $1,639 to $1,788 for semaglutide and $3,289 to $3,588 for tirzepatide, based on prices we checked on Orderly Meds’ own website on October 30, 2026.

The pricing page says that after the starter program, the next month is billed at “standard monthly rates.” Its FAQ describes the starter and month-to-month price as the same, so the two pages read differently; confirm the post-starter rate with Orderly Meds before enrolling. Orderly Meds states that its medication is available “for the same price per dosage,” that it charges no membership fees, and that virtual consults are free. Its FAQ says the price covers the doctor visit, medication, syringes, and shipping. Orderly Meds also lists add-on longevity products for current GLP-1 patients; those are not included in the math below.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

The 12-month math

To compare like for like, we added up a full year on each listed option using only figures from Orderly Meds’ site. Orderly Meds bills by the month, so a year is 12 charges. Elara bills every 4 weeks, so a year is 13 cycles. Both cover roughly 52 weeks.

On compounded medication alone, Orderly Meds’ listed prices come in below Elara’s. Orderly Meds does not list separate lab, consult, or membership fees on its site. Its terms say taxes and any shipping and handling shown at checkout are the customer’s responsibility, and that prices may change at any time. Elara’s price includes quarterly labs and health coaching, which are covered in the next section.

How to cancel Orderly Meds

Orderly Meds’ FAQ says you can cancel any time before the doctor finalizes your prescription, and that you receive a full refund if you are not approved for a prescription; refunds may take 3–5 business days to post. Its FAQ wording about multi-month plans is not fully consistent, so read the current terms before choosing a two-month plan. The Terms & Conditions authorize charges for your order and reference subscription charges, but do not lay out step-by-step cancellation instructions or a notice period as of October 30, 2026. If you plan to stop, contact Orderly Meds support through your patient portal well before your next charge and keep written confirmation.

How Elara is different

Elara costs more on medication price, and the difference is in what the price includes. Every plan covers clinician review and dose decisions by board-certified physicians at OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC, metabolic labs every quarter at Quest or Labcorp, a call with a certified health coach every 3 weeks, secure messaging with the care team, refills, shipping, and medication if prescribed, at the same price at every dose step. The assessment takes about 5 minutes and there is no charge if treatment is not approved. See how Elara works, or compare plans on our pricing page.
