Most weight loss assessments are 40 questions designed to qualify you in or out of a prescription. Ours is shorter, more thoughtful, and built around understanding your actual life: your goals, your medical history, your relationship with food and your body, what you've tried before, and what's working now.

You won't be charged at this stage. If you're not a candidate, your physician will tell you why and what alternatives might work. If you are, your real program begins within 24 hours.

You won't be charged. Your physician will explain why and may suggest alternatives - lifestyle interventions, different medications, or referral to a specialist. Roughly 1 in 7 applicants aren't candidates for compounded GLP-1 therapy, most often due to medication interactions, family history, or pre-existing conditions that require in-person care. Your safety is the only metric that matters at this step.

A real physician reads every word.

Your assessment doesn't go into a queue and get auto-approved. A board-certified physician with experience in obesity medicine reviews your full profile, your medications, your history, and your goals. Then they decide whether GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for you specifically, and if it is, they design a starting protocol calibrated to your biology.

You'll get a secure message with your physician's name, their decision, and their reasoning. Ongoing care comes from the same physician, not a rotating queue. If they have questions before deciding, they'll message you directly.

You can request one through your care team at any time and we'll route your case to a different physician on staff. There's no charge for second opinions. You also keep all your records and can share them with your primary care doctor whenever you'd like - we encourage it. Your physician here is part of your care team, not a replacement for it.

Most telehealth GLP-1 programs prescribe based on a form. We prescribe based on your actual metabolic biology. Your physician orders a comprehensive panel that goes to any Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp location near you. The visit takes about 15 minutes. You don't pay extra. You don't fight with insurance.

When your results come back, your physician reviews them in context with your assessment and explains what they mean in plain language. You'll know your fasting glucose, your HbA1c, your lipid profile, your liver and kidney markers, and your thyroid status. Most patients say it's the first time a doctor has actually walked them through their own lab work.

Your physician will explain exactly what's flagged, whether it changes your protocol, and whether it warrants additional follow-up. Sometimes unusual labs mean we adjust your starting dose. Sometimes they mean we order additional tests before proceeding. Sometimes they mean we recommend you see a specialist before continuing with GLP-1 therapy. In every case, you'll get a clear explanation, and you won't be left to interpret a confusing lab report on your own.

Your compounded medication is prepared by a PCAB-accredited, FDA-regulated 503A pharmacy. It ships in unmarked, temperature-controlled packaging. The first shipment includes everything you need: vial or pen, syringes, alcohol wipes, an instructional card, and a one-page protocol your physician wrote specifically for you.

If you chose oral semaglutide instead of injection, you'll get tablets and a daily protocol. If you chose tirzepatide, you'll get either format at the same price. Refills ship automatically every 30 days. If you ever need to pause or change formulation, you message your physician and it's done.

You have two needle-free options: oral semaglutide (a daily tablet) and oral tirzepatide (also a daily tablet). Both contain the same active ingredients as the injectable versions. Most patients who hate needles report they would rather take a daily pill than a weekly injection, and our compounding partner makes both formats at the same price for tirzepatide. Two weeks after your first dose, your dedicated health coach reaches out. From then on, you meet every three weeks via secure video or phone. Your coach helps you build the habits that make the medication actually work: nutrition that complements appetite changes, movement you'll actually do, sleep, stress, and the small daily decisions that compound over time.

Your coach reads your physician's notes before every session, so you never have to repeat yourself. Between sessions, you can message your care team anytime. Most patients say the coach is the part of the program they didn't know they needed until they had it.

You can pause coaching sessions for up to 60 days at a time without affecting your medication subscription. Just message your care team. We don't lock you into a session schedule that doesn't fit your life. The flip side: most patients who try to pause end up keeping their sessions because the cost of stopping the rhythm tends to outweigh whatever made them want to pause in the first place. But the option is always there.
